About Clinton-Warren Joint Fire District

Clinton Warren JFD at CMES

Clinton-Warren Joint Fire and Rescue

The Clinton-Warren Joint Fire and Rescue District was formed in October of 2004.  We cover areas in both Clinton and Warren Counties, totaling 80 square miles.  Our Village and Township areas include the Village of Clarksville, Vernon Township, Adams Township, and one-third of Washington Township (within Warren County). The Fire District’s estimated population is 8,500, which is located in mostly rural settings. The District averages close to 1,000 total runs per year.

Our District is home to Cowan Lake State Park, Clinton Massie Local Schools, and Camp Joy Outdoor Education Center. Also includes several campgrounds as well as several small businesses.  Nine miles of Interstate 71 runs through the District, including several miles of State Highways, County and Township roads.

Each entity has a representative to the Fire District Board with one at-large representative.  The Clinton-Warren Joint Fire and Rescue District Board meets the second Thursday of each month at the Fire Station, located at 82 Springhill Road in Clarksville, Ohio.
